Becketts advises shareholders of Chargefox on sale to Australian Motoring Services
Chargefox is a leading electric vehicle charging provider across Australia and New Zealand. Since launching in 2017, the company has built Australia’s most extensive network of chargers, powering more than 14 million carbon-free kilometres of travel. Its current focus is on building ultra-rapid chargers across its network, allowing drivers to charge to 80% or more of their vehicle’s capacity during a coffee break.
AMS is wholly owned by the Auto Clubs of Australia (NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC and RACT). The company was established in 2002 as a medium for the national delivery of key operational services and initiatives on behalf of the Clubs. Predominantly focused on business-to-business automotive, data warehousing, analytics, and travel and tourism services, AMS is the largest Australian wholesale roadside assistance provider.
