Becketts Lawyers is a specialist corporate law firm based in Melbourne.

The Opportunity

We will shortly be recruiting for our 2026 graduate intake. Graduates will work alongside our existing team of exceptional lawyers and support our diverse client base on a broad range of matters.

Throughout the year you will be supported through our junior lawyer buddy program and allocated a partner to be your mentor. Partners and senior lawyers will guide you through your graduate year and ensure you are provided with opportunities for professional development and learning.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

 – Completed (or will have completed by the end of February 2026) a law degree and achieved excellent academic results.

 – Experience working in commercial law (preferably some experience in private practice, such as vacation clerkships).

 – Excellent attention to detail and be highly motivated.

 – Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

 – The ability to work autonomously when required, as well as being a team player.
